@critialcloudkicker How handy are you with a soldering iron?

@scribus Very nifty, but I have no method to test how, if, and where the cable is actually busted. It's probably a loose connection when I bend the cable in a certain angle to boot. So... I have to trash the whole thing, get some replacement-wire and be off way more expensive than getting a replacement from China ( http://www.miniinthebox.com/nl/100cm-usb-3-0-a-male-naar-micro-b-male-gegevens-chargerr-kabel-voor-galaxy-note3-n9000-n900-black_p945338.html ) ... At least, that looks like the cable I need, it is actually for a Galaxy Note 3, but it probably does what I want just fine. Alternatively I can go to an actual Dutch outlet and prepare to pay 5 times that amount or more for the same actual thing

@critialcloudkicker A micro male to normal male USB cable is cheaper to get than you think. http://www.ebay.nl/sch/i.html?_trksid=m570.l3201&_nkw=micro+usb+3.0&_sacat=0
