  1. Isn't it easier just to donate money to the charity, I mean isn't doing something ridiculous like pouring ice on your head kind of distracting from the actual nature of your campaign? Maybe I'm just being an idiot as per usual and missing the point. At the end of the day there's money going to a good cause and that matters the most.

      1. @mrmattimation It's really just their attempt at a viral campaign. I'm all for raising money to combat ALS but I don't see how the ice buckets come into play.

    3. @northernnarwhal I think the concept is to hook people in with the ridiculous concept and then bring their attention to the fact that it's for charity. Somehow. I dunno, I've barely even heard of the ice bucket thing.

      1. @redenchilada That's most likely the reasoning behind it. Though I feel that with methods like this it can often lead to a point where the ridiculousness of the videos themselves get more attention as opposed to what they're actually trying to raise awareness for.
