@critialcloudkicker Most entertaining way to put the lawn in shame IMO is to wait until the grass is tall and cut it down with a scythe.

@nerthos Of course that only applies to places you're not currently living in. Grass that long is awful if you actually have to walk through it regularly.

@nerthos Scythes are really the worst tool for grassy lawns, not surprising because they were mainly made for harvesting of wheat

@critialcloudkicker Depends on what type of grass and the volume of it you're dealing with. I've cleared yards of tall grass with one and it's far easier to do than it is with a mower.
