@ellistia I am not sure what you are implying even though I know that game is what sepperates the men from the boys... But I did finish GTA Vice City on the PS2 with my feet when I had loads of time to kill ( and both my hands in a cast ) ... @critialcloudkicker You don't need to, the stories are related. Dark Souls doesn't even tell much of its story directly, it has a very rich lore but a quite minimalist presentation.

@northernnarwhal I generally dislike games that to not incorporate lore within the gameplay. I mean, could you immagine if FPS games were to do that ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=d7r9RqWBdl8 ... well sort of, I just like that video to poke holes at the FPS genre XD

@critialcloudkicker Dark Souls pretty much tells it whole story through its characters, items, and world. A lot of it is open to interpretation of the player too.

@northernnarwhal Hmm, nothing wrong with a bit of interpetation but letting it run amock too much leads to pretty conflicting headcanon... Which could be fun, but not really my cup of tea.

@critialcloudkicker It doesn't run amock though, the game just doesn't shove everything down your throat. It's a rare wholesome experience where you really get out what you put into the game.
