@soren Mostly because he's pretty much he's really fast, hard hitting, easy to combo with, and was used by pretty much everyone and their dog when Smash Bros for 3DS first dropped.

@northernnarwhal Yeah, I hear ya. I remember his A button combo did about an automatic 20% damage. I've been testing it now, and so far I think that part was nerfed.

@therainbowboxer I've also been able to play circles around people with him by just dash attacking, he's really fun to play as though I understand the backlash

@northernnarwhal Yeah. I love playing as him too. Even though he's got bad recover, he's real quick on his feet, and has really good power. I do understand why some people hate him, but once you figure out that weakness, he shouldn't be such a problem I think. But that's just me. xD

@therainbowboxer I still really love playing Shulk, since he's pretty adaptable to different battle conditions and that counter is just SO cool. Plus I'm a pretty massive Xenoblade fan, that game was awesome.

@northernnarwhal I haven't gotten the game yet but I'm planning on playing it on the Wii version with some friends. I'll probably love a lot of new characters but in reality I'll probably just end up playing a lot of Diddy.

@soren I've never played Diddy Kong too much but I know a lot of people who really like him. I haven't played in a little while but generally I've been favouring Shulk, Zero Suit Samus, and Lucina (who's pretty much made Marth obsolete for me). Lucario is pretty fun too.

@northernnarwhal I'm excited for new lucario because I loved playing as him in brawl- I was crappy in brawl as him in comparison to Lucas and Diddy. Diddy I was a monster on in Brawl.

@soren Lucario has only gotten better in the new one. I'm am sad they didn't include Lucas, albeit not because I played him that often but just because I'm sort of a fanboy of the Mother series.

@northernnarwhal Me being into fighting games, I kinda learned that you need to get a main, and stick to it, if you want to be competitive. Though I usually have a top 5, or so, of character's in each fighting game I play. But, when I am playing with friends, I try and experiment a little just to have fun. xD

@therainbowboxer I'm not really into too many fighting games outside of Smash, which I generally just play for fun with friends. Though I generally subscribe to the same philosophy of having a few characters that are my favourites.

@northernnarwhal Yeah. Street Fighter got me into being hard core at fighting games. And trying to be good at them. But, I know that's not for everybody. If anything I kinda it's funner to just be playing around with friends, instead of just being there to win...

@therainbowboxer Every now and then when my friends and I aren't busy we'll all get together and hook up two Xboxes together via LAN and have 8 player Halo matches. It's lots of fun.

@northernnarwhal No. I think it was from Lucina cause she yell's it out before the attack. Though I haven't seen Robin's Final Smash yet, so I could be wrong...I'm pretty sure it was Lucina though.

@northernnarwhal But that K.O Uppercut can still probably get under peoples skin. Well, At least he can only do it once, before having to build up the meter again. But still, all you really have to do is try and stay away from him, and keep him off the stage, cause he can't recover.
