  1. New sketch, practicing foreshortening. Thoughts? http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/812535

    1. @northernnarwhal I think it's pretty good, but the kicking leg does look a little odd. Maybe that's just me, I'm not an art major or anything, but I think it's the fact that there doesn't really seem to be a point where the leg bends.

    2. @northernnarwhal The pose in the kick looks a little odd due to her leaning, the hip would stand out more I think if that makes sense.

    3. @northernnarwhal this reminds me of the Beedrill pic I did a while ago (http://pny.lv/7wbx) where I also tried foreshortening. The sole looks fine, but it seems you did a similar thing to what I did; the leg kind of looks like it's been squashed from either side, like you may notice on the drill part in my pic. It's a pretty difficult perspective... I never really figured out how I would go about fixing it, but in your case it seems you could probably fix it by lowering the point where the foot meets the top edge of the leg, and making the whole left side of the outline of the shoe and the leg more rounded like a semicircle (whereas currently it kinda looks more like an oval shape). Idk, it's hard to explain. I'd redline it if I wasn't lazy :v

    4. @northernnarwhal the rest of the pic is brill by the way. I see you're getting a lot better at hands.
