  1. a tale of my clumsiness: today i was making lunch for myself and i was making pasta and frozen vegtables (i'm not a good cook) and i spilled the vegetables while pouring them into the bowl and as i was standing up to throw away the floor-veggies i knocked over the pasta onto the floor and after cleaning it all up, i ended up eating eating crackers with cheese

    1. @bakarainbowdash Oh wow, talk about a string of foul luck. I just made myself some soup for lunch today since I wasn't too hungry.

        1. @bakarainbowdash It was some quick vegetable soup I threw together with some stuff in the fridge. I thought it was alright.

          1. @northernnarwhal It's more impressive than "I took a can of soup and added heat."

            1. @scribus Well, traditional soup isn't really too tough. Time is the greatest factor involved, really, to let all the ingredients coalesce in the broth.

            1. @bakarainbowdash I'm not above canned soup by any means, but I like making it homemade lots of the time.

                1. @bakarainbowdash I cook as a casual hobby so I do have some experience. Here's a pic of a pizza I made, I did the dough and everything too. Turned out really nice http://fi.rdn.io/file/northernnarwhal-20141207T224617-86rceed.jpeg

            2. @bakarainbowdash Hey, I'm a chef by profession, nothing wrong with just throwing a can of soup on the stove and forget about it untill you grow hungry. I spend 32 hours a day in a professional kitchen at least. Nothing wrong with lazyness :)

                    1. @bakarainbowdash Back to soup... You can pretty much add anything to canned soup, especially if you are trying to start to learn how to cook. If you did not make it terrible you did a good job. Paprica or Carrots are simple things to try to add, just slice and dice and add... Though you could decide to throw them in a wokpan to give them a crunchy bite beforehand

                      1. @critialcloudkicker i might try that, add some flavor to the gross chicken

                      2. @critialcloudkicker slice and dice and wok, then add... Don't want you to burn anything now... I am assuming this was obvious and this is probably a waste of a good dash :)
