          @tiffany Not my favourite Mountain Goats album (that would probably be We Shall All Be Healed) but definitely one of their better ones. Also as Cerulean mentioned the liner notes state that The Sunset Tree is dedicated to those who have experienced abuse and damn it really hits home sometimes. John Darnielle is a great songwriter.

              @tiffany I'd recommend listening to it the first time around unshuffled, there are a lot of strong central themes in the album.
