          @mushi Yeah, Nicalis did a 3DS port with new graphics. It's pretty good, though I find the quaint nature of the original pixelated graphics to be especially striking.

                        @northernnarwhal maybe it doesnt accept because it is set for USA, then it becomes international purchase, and if i format it and set it ot brazil i lose access to the e-store. But that is werid, i bought child of light with the credit card for wiiu onc

                                          @mrmattimation Yes, the version on that site as well as the translation patches on that site are all entirely legal. The original PC version of the game was released as freeware by the creator.

                                              @mrmattimation Yeah, it's actually quite amazing to think that the guy spent around 4 years developing, designing, writing the story and music, as well as everything else all on his own and just releases it for free.

                                                @northernnarwhal Stuff like that happens more often than you think. Particularly in the old Click communities, 90% of the stuff made there was freeware. (Granted, around 80% of it was junk, but there was some pretty legitimately good stuff.)

                                                  @redenchilada True, though I'm not just impressed that it's freeware but more so that the guy put in 4 whole years and did everything for the game, then still released it as freeware. I seldom see games of Cave Story's size, scope, and quality released for free.
