    Watching World War Z was like rewatching a zombie movie I'd already seen, because there really is nothing about the zombie genre that pushes it or makes it interesting. The Walking Dead isn't even exciting or thrilling, it just panders to an audience who thinks a zombie apocalypse would be cool. If you're gonna watch a zombie movie opt for Shaun of the Dead or Zombieland or some other comedy, because at least they elicit some kind of emotional response.

      @tiffany A lot of modern zombie flicks have forgotten that the zombies used to be a stand-in for an issue, or a forced situation to allow us to examine some particular aspect of humanity, and now they're just action flicks in a horror setting.
