    1. @northernnarwhal it is nice because très is almost portuguese for 3

      1. @mushi It's Spanish. "Tres Piquante" means "Very Spicy" (tres in particular actually has the same root as in French)

      2. @mushi On second viewing, it might actually be translated to "3 Spicy", which is a strange way to say your sauce is spicy.

        1. @northernnarwhal some people in the southern states say "tri"when they want to say something is too something

        2. @northernnarwhal I wonder if that peculiarity in French is due to referencing the Holy Trinity?

          1. @awlditzy It wouldn't surprise me, lots of French pays tribute to liturgical vernacular. Actually, most of the common swear words in Quebec are derived from expressions and vocabulary related to Catholicism.

          2. @awlditzy Maybe it is actually just French and they just used a weird translation of "spicy" (I've always known the word as "épicé")

            1. @northernnarwhal Well, one says "très bien" for "very good" in French, no?

              1. @awlditzy Yes, that is indeed how you say "very good".
