@thelastgherkin My biggest problem with that episode is that Twilight didn't bother to go to canterlot and get her stuff to Ponyville and didn't clean her home in Canterlot. @thelastgherkin Was it a second home? Was it paid and provided by Princess Celestia? Why did the sand in the hour glass turned from white to purple? How did the plants survive the years of being neglected? How much time has exactly passed? 2 Years perhaps? Twilight wrote many letters to Celestia, why didn't she just write letters to her friends? She forgot her names! Why has she forgotten her names in such a short time? Maybe memory-sucking monsters? Or an enemy who didn't want Twilight to remember her old friends? This is a conspiracy!

@adiwan The lesson I learned from that episode is that Equestrian real estate is basically just "move into whatever unoccupied building you like".

@thelastgherkin In the comics there was one instance of an Apple Family member about to lose their land because they were too long away from the land and thus a gang of mischievous bulls wanted to claim the land.
