            @metaltao The enhanced edition has been out for a year now. Odds are that anybody who's gonna play GTA V on an Xbox One already HAS it on their Xbox One.

              @mrmattimation There are those who don't, as you said and may want to play it on the Xbone. It is not hilariously stupid. I have Metroid games for my GameCube, I can get a better version of those games made specifically for the Wii, but I could also put the old games into the Wii and play them. (Which I have done) I don't have to rebuy it for the XBox One. I can use my 360 disc to play on the Xbox one. Even if it is not the same graphical quality. Just like the way with the game cube games.

                @metaltao I'm not entirely certain what you're trying to accomplish with that scenario, other than convince me to buy a Wii game over an inferior GameCube port I may or may not already have.

                  @mrmattimation I am saying one could have the game for the 360 but should or could have the ability to play it on the Xbone without having to buy a new copy of the game for the Xbox one when they have it for the 360 already. The whole point of Backwards compatibility. I have the game here, but I want to play it there.
                  I also agree with you on those other points, but you seemed to be confused by the reasoning they might have had.

                    @metaltao Another prime example is the Hitman games. Hitman 2, Contracts, and Blood Money are all bundled together on the 360. That's three games for the price of one. THAT would be a better use of backwards compatibility than the 360 version of GTA V.

                    @metaltao is it me ? Or does the whole backwards compattibility thing on the Xbone rather un-consoley-like ? I mean, you have the game for lastgen, now you can get it on newgen by proving ownership and from what I've heard now have to download the whole game again in prepackaged new standard that will run on newgen... That whole process screams Mac or PC to me ( maybe a big dab of Mac, cus PC has "generations" like a stick of butter has layers/rings )
