-
@tiffany DEEEEEEEEEEZ NUTS
-
@nocoltz oh okay
-
@nocoltz Deez Nuts confirmed for Smash?
-
@northernnarwhal Next DLC
-
@northernnarwhal Pls no
-
@nocoltz But where's Shrek???
-
@scribus It's Sakurai's dream
-
@northernnarwhal But Smash and Nutz do not belong in the same concept together. D:
-
@scribus But what about our artistic vision??
-
@northernnarwhal But so painful...
-
@northernnarwhal Maybe for the next installmente
-
@scribus Joking aside, who would be a character you'd wanna see in Smash?
-
@nocoltz There won't be a new Smash game until a very long time from now
-
@northernnarwhal I'll probably be graduated by then.
-
@bobo Well there were 7 years between Melee and Brawl and 6 years between Brawl and Sm4sh so I'd say it's possible
-
@northernnarwhal Rick from Splatterhouse? I'm trying to think of something kind of off the wall, but not too far out, and also obviously who isn't already in there or from a series that is already represented.... Harkening back to the olden days.... Actually, maybe the Rick from Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti could be interesting. Or one of the tentacles from Maniac Mansion?
-
@scribus Rick from Splatoon-house.
I'm out. -
@scribus That would certainly be an unconventional choice, but they've had Snake in Smash before so it's not impossible or anything.
-
@northernnarwhal Yeah, I was going over the top at first, but then I remembered Snake and it almost started trying to make sense.
-
@scribus I actually haven't played a Splatterhouse game before so I'm not sure how well it would translate into Smash (I guess you could use a meat cleaver for a forward smash?)
-
@northernnarwhal It's a fairly standard beat-em-up with gory horror skin over it, so yeah, pretty much "Punch and jump and kick and punch and 2x4 and meat cleaver and punch and try not to get punched or jumped or kicked or punched or 2x4'd or meat cleavered or punched."
-
@scribus That makes sense, also if I recall correctly it started out as an arcade game, right?
-
@northernnarwhal Yeah. It did.
-
@northernnarwhal Yes. With a voluntary content warning, and predating Mortal Kombat, making all sorts of vidya gaem history that nobody remembers because Tipper Gore or Nancy Reagan or Old Mama Bush or whoever wasn't paying quite that much attention.
-
@scribus Well it came out in the late 80s, so I think at that point big political figures were still more focused on how rock n' roll was corrupting the youth.
