  1. I'm still working on that pilot idea I had a while back. I don't know how to write interesting female characters because I grew up in a society with male-dominated media BUT DAMMIT I'M TRYING MY BEST

    1. @mrmattimation It's genuinely refreshing that society is much more open to complex female leads these days and that we can portray women in media as being outside of the archetypal.

      1. @northernnarwhal I didn't make any sort of conscious decision to make the lead female, it's just sort of how I imagined it would go.

        1. @mrmattimation Yeah I get that, things just sort of fell into place for you. In my high school Creative Writing class I gave my final a female lead just because it felt natural to me while writing it.
