I think Narcos is a scary example of how perspective makes a difference in regards to people being heroes or villains

@tiffany I've still only seen the first episode; I found the narration kind of excessive. Didn't really inspire me to go on. So much promise, though.

@tiffany If the theme of morality being informed by public opinion interests you I'd implore you to watch Gone Girl, it's a fantastic exploration of how media and publicly conceived narratives inform our ideas of truth

@scribus There's a bit less narration later on, I think. But that just means there's more Spanish subtitles that you have to not miss

@tiffany That doesn't bother me so much. In fact, it might be a good idea, what with this whole "I've claimed that I'm learning Spanish ever since high school" thing.

@tiffany I should warn you not to watch it with a light head or light stomach though, it can get really intense and there's a ton of anxious psychological tension throughout. It's a frighteningly unnerving and unsettling film, but an excellent one at that.

@tiffany It's directed by David Fincher, who was the director of kiwi (I believe I've talked to you about him before, he's one of my favourite "modern" directors)
