  1. The scariest thing about the Silent Hill movie is that it made back twice its budget at the box office!

    1. @mrmattimation The only thing scarier than that is that they released a sequel that was somehow even worse https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silent_Hill:_Revelation

        1. @mrmattimation I envy you. I don't even know how to articulate how genuinely awful it is and how it's the embodiment of everything the Silent Hill I know and love isn't. With enough alcohol and some friends you could possibly enjoy making fun of it while watching it, but these days I'm not big on snark watching or ironic watching, drunk or not.

          1. @northernnarwhal You couldn't give all the alcohol in the world to enjoy genuinely bad films. Mostly because I don't drink so I'd have a pile of bottles and wouldn't know what to do with it.

            1. @mrmattimation Looking back alcohol wouldn't really help it since it really only makes So Bad It's Good films more fun and SH: Revelations is just genuinely unenjoyably awful. That being said, I feel the sensation of forcefully making myself pass out from intoxication would still be more pleasant than having to sit through SH: Revelations again.

            2. @mrmattimation Also it's fine if you don't drink, it's definitely not for everyone and you should be both comfortable with it and at least marginally responsible if you're going to.

          2. @northernnarwhal Tried watching drunk with a friend. Still an incomprehensible bore. Waste of alcohol.

            1. @scribus I've only watched it sober, and it broke me in a way few films manage to do. I don't know what I expected going into it, but it was beyond any idea of "unbelievably awful" I could've possibly conjured for it beforehand.

    2. @mrmattimation Oh, be fair, it was kind of funny.
