Those "suevive 30 mins" missions on grimgrimoire are annoying
Monday, 29-Feb-16 22:29:24 UTC from web-
@mushi good game if I remember right, use of cheatcodes is... somewhat a punishment for the game not respecting your time
-
@critialcloudkicker are there cheat codes?
-
@critialcloudkicker well, i'm not using those cheat codes, but how would one type J8T1-A5FH-CX5BJ 284X-CV1B-7FC3V on a ps2?
-
@mushi you scratch it onto the disc with a compass
-
@mushi Well, it is an action replay max code... soo... Here is a howto ( I have not seen it but it looks good ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnFvvianbkU ... Alternatively you may not have an Action Replay Max, so then you can't use it... Ofcourse it's pretty much baked into PCSX2 although then you need to reformat the code to RAW. I have a program for that somewhere... *starts digging*
-
@tiffany ... I'll scratch your disc with a compass...
-
@critialcloudkicker don't hurt me or my F.R.I.E.N.D.S. DVDs
-
@tiffany fine, I will not hurt you physically or any of your DVD's
-
@critialcloudkicker well, I'm not playing on emulator
-
@mushi Hmm, well you might want to do a guild google search and press the shopping button... I can buy one locally with 18 Euro's ( that is... about 80 Reais ? )
-
@critialcloudkicker nah, i want to play fair
-
@mushi I'd usually use action replay when games start getting unfair, like the enemies straight up cheating, or asian experience curves that'd take months of grinding to go through
-
@mushi Fair is in the eye of the beholder I'd say. While I prefer to play without cheating, if a game is not respecting my free time or anything, you bet I'll look into the possibility of cheating. ... Singleplayer only ofcourse.
-
@nerthos How about straight up loot-grinder games like Borderlands ( preemptive getyiffed ! ) or Diablo 3... And those are the grey-area games IMHO.
-
@critialcloudkicker Borderlands 2 I play with slightly better rates (not much, but for example changing legendaries to 0.01%), diablo 3 I'm fine with plus it's online.
-
@welcomepony HAH ! :D
-
@nerthos it is RTS, there is no experience curves
-
@mushi Well, as long as the game doesn't cheat, then no cheats is the way to go. I'd sometimes use cheats on RTS games where enemies didn't actually spend resources or had other unfair advantages
-
@nerthos I can't enjoy that game anymore, I can actually play it without paying attention while looking at funny pictures online in a browser... It is too grindy for it's own good. I heard people grinding close to 200 hours to get that weapon they wanted or something... that is insane, those are World of Warcraft numbers, and at least then you are hopefully playing with a team of friends for an united goal.
-
@critialcloudkicker i could simply lower the difficulty
-
@mushi You'd still have those annoying wait 30 minute missions though
-
@nerthos there is no need for cheating. I am playing on normal (the highest difficulty avaliable), if i get tired i can just change it to easy
-
@critialcloudkicker I play it now and then for the sake of shooting things, rather than loot.
-
@critialcloudkicker once lost in the last 3 seca. That was awepapaya
-
@nerthos You seriously could use some better games to shoot things in then.
-
@mushi As I said, go ahead then.
-
@critialcloudkicker I have a lot of them, I play whatever I feel like playing.
-
@nerthos Good :)
-
@critialcloudkicker Lately I've been playing Dragon's Dogma, and Men of War assault squad 2 after finishing that.
-
@nerthos Those are some games I have yet to acquire and play actually. Probably too busy with w0rk and trying to finish "The Last Federation". Which is a true gem to those amongst us who think they can pull off being a diplomat, in space, with a spaceship, a spaceship arguably better than anyone in space, cherry you pirates !!!
