  1. Would you rather die right now or have your toenails clipped slightly too short every week forever?

    1. @mrmattimation I clip my toenails slightly short every time, since they are just now growing back from being completely removed due to infection

            1. @rarity God damn, I've had my small toenails gone but could not even imagine that.

              1. @awl it wasn't that big a deal. After a couple days the skin wasnt' sentsitive. and Honestly I thought I was gonan be without big toenails forever, since there was only a small chance they would grow back, but they both came back.

                1. @rarity I was thinking more about them being ripped out than the aftermath

                    1. @rarity Gotcha. I had the smallest toenail rip off whilst hiking although I didn't notice it until it tore up my toe, had to throw away those socks and dress it up.

                2. @rarity if you don't damage the nail matrix they comeback, the matrix is super hard to damage, kuz it's self-repairing, weirdly enough if you remove a bunch of layer (from the top) it's fine, but if you remove a whole row (like from the side) the whole matrix dies

          2. @rarity could you walk after?

      2. @rarity I had a toenail that was trying to ingrow to the side, I had to go there every morning and night and straighten the nail with a tweezer, splash it with alcohol (it stung like the scorch of a thousand suns) and place one of those toe separators (that chicks use when they paint toenails) for a month, kuz if it didn't work they'd have to remove it

        1. @zennx removing it isn't such a big deal

          1. @rarity I had to go under the knife 4 times by the time I was 10, scarred for LIFE, I'm still appleing terrified of hypo needles, so I'll be damned if I go there again if I can help it.

        2. @zennx I have had a few ingrown toenails removed myself, the most recent being last fall (I was fine for around 15 years or so, then I had one that I could not remedy on my own). Hopefully I won't have to deal with such issues again.
