Why is this not common knowledge ? If I for instance say that I really prefer sleeping in a hammock over a bed then it is all good and dandy, but if I make a comment about me not likeing Portal 2 for instance then suddenly I am the Antichrist. A bed-hating hammock-sleeping gamer-Antichrist.

@critialcloudkicker Probably for the same reason people think that, if you forget to say "In my opinion", you're egotistical. Even though, by default, everything you say is your own understanding and beliefs.

@lvbot "everything I think of happens exclusively in my own brain" sounds a truckload more egotistical now than "I think that everything I think of happens exclusively in my own brain"... This weird tidbit just blew my mind for it's true :0
