@cawlliflower Tangentially related, I'm interesting in seeing The Disaster Artist when it comes out. Though I'll likely buy the book and just read that too.

@narwhal Same really, as in I'll make it a point to go to cinema. I wonder if they'll allow spoons in the screenroom.

@cawlliflower Or footballs for that matter

@narwhal If that isn't a thing for screenings of The Room it should be.

@cawlliflower I believe for some screenings it is. Whenever the characters throw a football onscreen you'd pass a football in the theatre to one of your friends.

@narwhal The one I went to... well I can't say I remember it all. It was my first time being subjected to that film, it was so damned weird.

@cawlliflower I've never had the pleasure (misfortune?) of going to a showing myself, but I've read about them

@narwhal Oh it's fun. Unlike any movie experience I've had, at least.

@cawlliflower Ever been to Rocky Horror?
Thursday, 14-Apr-16 20:35:27 UTC from web-
@narwhal Nope. I've heard it's similar in a few ways, what with the cosplay and recitations.

@cawlliflower Yeah, there's a particular ritualistic way to view the film

@narwhal A couple of hundred years ago a friend of mine, that worked at a restaurant, got a 100lbs. bag of rice that we both smuggled into a showing and got into the balcony.

@colfax Ha, this sounds hilarious. Well done.
