@lainonymoose The violent crime rate actually continued to drop after the ban on "assault weapons" expired in 2004. Anti-gun politicians and activists simply have an agenda, and they do not let things like facts get in the way.

@m14brony Yeah, I was aware of that too. The gun problem seems more to do with their militant police force doing bad things than civilians having freedoms.

@scribus Not to mention the oft overlooked but very severe issue of increased gun ownership increasing America's suicide rate. Depression becomes much, much more dangerous when there's a gun present.

It's one of the primary reasons why I support him. I feel even if I did disagree with Trump I could appreciate his honesty. I can't say that with the other candidates.
