A friend of mine will celebrate tomorrow's 500th anniversary of the German beer purity law. I think it's silly but I've seen lesser reasons to drink and get plastered.

@scribus Unfortunately, that stupidly high tolerance also works on meds and suchlike... which will be fun if I ever need surgery or something.

@colfax Oh do not worry about it, waking up during surgery is it's own reward. Also I guess in America you can sue the anesthesiologist or something
