        @adiwan I would phrase it as "Damn everything, I guess I have to put up with this crap to have anything resembling a social life," but yeah, that's pretty much it.

          @scribus I had this problem myself. I joined once a social network (it failed) just because all my friends were there. I never used that to be honest. Later everyone switched to facebook and tried to persuade me to get there too. I plainly refuse to create an account there. Once I do that all my family will harass me with friend requests and stalk me. Twitter/GNUsocial/Tumblr are more compelling and anonymous for me to enjoy.

        @awl More because of my writing group and my roommates. Well, event organization, anyway. Most of which surrounds my writing group and roommates.
