I just played that Doom ( 2016 ) demo. ... Am I the only one who thinks it is really really boring ?

@critialcloudkicker I watched only gameplay videos. They don't impress me. The glory kills are too repetitive and halt the action. Mechanically they do make sense but the flow of the action is constantly interrupted. If I want to play something fast-paced I'd rather grab Painkiller.

@critialcloudkicker Never played the demo. The main game is amazing. Need more hardcore? Just up the difficulty. I am told it is ment to play played at the highest setting (unlocked that is). Like Halo was ment to be played on heroic. Love all the ways to melee

@firestormdangerdash But to me it feels like "Press F to finish off that flashing enemy, now you have 0.5 seconds to scratch that itch and get in combat position again".

@critialcloudkicker Otherwise the combat is fun. Either shoot things or mash the melee to combo unless its strong eneimes. Then use chainsaw. I loved the melee berzerk mode though, insta kill by ripping there heads off, ftw! http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/847056

@firestormdangerdash Oh, yes, it is still a good game. it has some flaws in my eyes but still not a bad game. However if you would bring money into the equasion... wait let me find how expensive it is... 0_o *has a heart attack*

@critialcloudkicker @firestormdangerdash Oh, and no. I detest piracy as much as the nest honest person. But, wow, just wow, AAA gaming is really dropping the ball more and more in my eyes. Because for that money I could buy Life is Strange and Undertale and a metric ton of junkfood and be very content for a way longer amount of time.

@critialcloudkicker Besides runescape and starcraft, sure I own all the half life games but I just rebought them on console for more immersion. I could of sworn any AAA game is 79.99 even on steam. Otherwise if youre refering to side games noone heard of you cant really count that. Since I work retail I live, breath, buy, and sell 79.99. And chat with customers about remembering times games cost 59.99. :^(

@firestormdangerdash I hold steadfast in that AAA games have went up in price and down in content exponentially over the years. Do I happily remember days when games were 60 ? yea, but not because of the costs, it has everything to do with content. I would be fine if I had to buy 100 [ currency ] games if it had was worth it. I really think a certain cost/reward scale should be called to life. Things like yearly CoD or otherwise franchise milking does not help. Madden anyone ? yeah, I think I made my point. Then again I might be in the minority thinking this. This does not take away that I am going to wait for a deal somewhere untill I think [ certain game ] is worth the money. And tell anyone who'll listen that G2A&G2P and pre-ordering are proverbial tools of the devil.

@critialcloudkicker The mass of the internet agrees with you. I follow Kotaku a lot and they mention it enough. I have enougg back log of games i usually get them for $15 as clearance thanks to my work or pawn shops if need be. Or digital sales I suppose. Ownly way I play console exlsusives, what till the console dies to collect the things I missed (lol ps3).
