Hey, Trump supporters, can I ask you a real, serious question? I swear to Christ I'm not making fun of you this time. What's your reasoning for voting for him? The only argument I've really heard is "he speaks his mind" or "he's anti-PC", which is all fine if that's your prerogative, but I feel like it shouldn't be the only reason to support a candidate?

@mrmattimation Because Hilary Clinton is an unqualified idiot supported by greedy people with money, who is running for personal gain, who is a criminal, who honestly does not deserve to be the first female president, who will not make anything any better, who does not believe in Jesus Christ (I don't care if you don't, I will not discuss religion here). And, why the crap would anyone ever even consider someone who has had serious criminal allegations brought upon them, she used BleachBit for crying out loud. Regardless of the legitimacy or intentions of the accusation, if someone in your town ran for mayor, and this certain man was on trial for murder, you should not vote for him, even if he is completely innocent, there is no excuse for the initial accusation, if the man was moral and completely transparent, he would never be in that situation. This is a bit of my honest opinion, I am not attempting to change yours, I respect yours.

@oracle I'm not trying to change your views here either, but I'd like to point out that this is less a list of reasons to vote /for/ Trump as it is a list of reasons /against/ voting for Hilary. What are your views on Trumps policies, his pro-russia leanings or his tiny, tiny hands

@ceruleanspark @slimshamy He's not anti-Russia. Which makes him roughly equivalent to Hillary Clinton during her State Department tenure when she presided over the "Russian Reset". With the exception that he thinks NATO should be disbanded, which people have been highly critical of, despite this being traditionally a far-left anti-imperialist position.

@mrmattimation the faint hope that a Trump Justice Department will try and punish the previous two administrations with the full extralegal potency enabled by those very-same administrations. You know, the administrations that legalized detention without trial, torture, and flying robot murder.

@1iceloops123 I don't like NATO but I agree, there needs to be counterbalance to Russian influence over the former Soviet satellite states that are friendly to the US.

1) I do not and never claimed to be a Hillary Clinton supporter, I'm still entirely unsure what I'm doing this election.
2) Like Cerulean said, this isn't a list of reasons to vote for Trump, this is a list of reasons NOT to vote for Hillary Clinton. -

@ceruleanspark This is how the failed "lesser evil" narrative plays out in the USA. A good deal of the votes Hillary gets will simply be votes against Trump, and a good deal of those Trump gets will simply be votes agsinst Hillary.

@moonman @mrmattimation My personal goal is for the entirety of the Federal Leviathan to go into an epic hissyfit-slash-seizure in response to a Trump administration. We aren't supposed to be electing a Bob-damned king every four years, and if putting the latest Actually Hitler in the White House is what it takes to make the government and its functionaries remember that, then by Zarquon make it so.

@ceruleanspark Thank you, I do realize this. First it can be assumed that for each negative reason, the inverse is an affirmative reason for Trump. Mostly, this is a classic "lesser of two evils" argument. I realize entirely the character flaws of Trump. I mostly will not, and can not support any candidate of the Democratic party. (For religious reasons)
