        @tiffany Nobody in my family is capable of soldering grapety threaded wires to a 15-pin D-sub with a cheapass soldering iron

      @redenchilada I don't like it much either but my experiences varied extremely depending on the quality of the solder tin. The professional tin that my father gave me is wonderful to use. The cheap stuff from China that I bought for literally a few bucks is the most anger-inducing piece of crap ever.
