  1. This is going to sound like an entry-level question, but if I log onto Steam from a different computer, will all my save game progress still be there?

    1. @thelastgherkin It depends on the game honestly.

    2. @thelastgherkin In my experience save files tend to save to account, but my Undertale save files didn't switch when I switched computers. That could have been an isolated issue but it's hard to tell.

      1. @actualrudolph See, for Christmas I got this new game Catlateral Damage. It's a mouse-and-keyboard control scheme only, but attempting to do that with a trackpad means I haven't been able to control well enough to get past the first level. The third party controller I have comes with a keymapper, but the Mac version of it doesn't let you assign keys to the analogue sticks. The Windows version does, so if I can borrow a Windows computer I might actually be able to progress. (But since levels are procedurally generated, I have a bunch of unlockables and achievements simply from playing the first level.)

        1. @thelastgherkin If I'm right, achievements are automatically saved on your Steam account. So that shouldn't be an issue. Also Catlateral Damage IS steam cloud compatible, so you theoretically shouldn't have an issue.

    3. @thelastgherkin Yes and no, it depends on the game's capabilities. Some games are synced in the cloud, some not. You can see that in the "Library" tab in the list view. If there is a cloud then the save files can be synced across multiple computers.
