  1. I try my best to separate semantics from sociopolitical discussions because I think they muddy the issue far too much, but I wonder how much harm that does compared to good

        1. @tiffany @awl Human expression is restrained to language, so they go hand in hand. There's no way to separate any topic from semantics, all you can do is use very specific words.

            1. @adiwan I meant in discussing anything. It's really hard and impractical to try to discuss anything through those means.
