@renovatedkitchen The "impulsiveness" part is really for people whose anxiety keeps them from doing stuff. My meds have, to a degree, made me the same. Before, I wouldn't do things impulsively because I had to plan EVERYTHING to avoid anxiety. Now I feel OK just doing them.

@ceruleanspark anxiety is horrible. And in case you missed it, I will do my best to vow to not kill myself until I have gone to a doctor. Small steps at a time

@anarchycarcino Kik. It's a messenger service for smart phones. Pretty nifty. No character limit and you can message people outside the country for no extra cost

@omni Not that I'm aware of. At least, it works on my phone when I'm not connected to wifi. On my ex's Windows 7 phone, though, it didn't seem to work without wifi...

@flaredancer "Without Wi-Fi" means 3G? I'm using prepaid for my phone and a router without wireless, so I neither have 3G nor Wi-Fi

@ceruleanspark E-mail is generally way slower and has no way of showing if said person is available. But well, fair enough, I guess.

@omni It never occurred to me that at some point in the past, the status indicators on instant messengers actually served a purpose. Most of my contacts stay signed in and set to online 24/7, regardless of their availability.

@omni I actually know people that use kik and I know no one that uses any of those other ones? Honestly, this was suggested to me by a friend and it's just what I use. Kik also doesn't keep a backlog of your conversations.

@ceruleanspark Mhm. That's what I'm thinking. Can't get to a psychiatrist till I have my own working car anyways :P. luckily, (not my family doctor) but a doctor nonetheless is very close to my house, so I'm going to get my appointment there.
