      @scribus nowadays I buy comfort driven work boots and shine them up so that office doesn't know the difference. Don't know if you could get away with that as easily.

        @awl That's not a bad idea. Especially because our dress code is so casual (usually I'm in jeans because slacks don't go with my comfortable hiking shoes).
