@mushi I don't eally see it as selfish, but I do see it as bothersome. I don't have the patience or inclination to raise a kid. Not until age 12. I can plan and work on something for a decade without being annoyed by it, but kids are just insufferable.

@abigpony Not at all. Want a simple explanation? Imagine me as a guy who has guns. I see her shooting with a BB gun, with good accuracy. So I give her a real gun and say "Here, let's see what you can do with this one" and instead of shooting down a can, she takes down an entire city. So I'm all like "This girl is the best thing I saw in my whole life!" and so we get a car and go on a magical adventure shooting down things.

@abigpony I can't put it any simpler than that. She's just a girl who manages to do wonders with tools as simple as speech and manipulation. She does exactly what I do, but almost whitout restriction. That's where my admiration comes from. Her natural talent.

@abigpony I know most of her class, so I can vouch for them being idiots. And it's not because she can't hold her composture. It's just because most guys as soon as they hear she has a boyfriend, won't try to hit on her, and she won't have to deal with them. You tend to try to avoid people when you see most of them as stupidly irritating.

Look, the only reason why I'm even talking about this because you're doing this whole, "aw man she's so fine for using people because she's smarter than them," and I'm guessing you bring up morals because she's not using her mental skills to exploit them for cash or something, but that's not much worse than what you've already described to begin with. Also, considering our last convo when your argument was "lol murder is okay because it solves the population problem," your arguments concerning morals should be relatively invalid.

@nerthos you raised the issue of overpopulation to an unrealistic level of concern and condoned war as a morally acceptable substitute to something admittedly harder to achieve (solving hunger) but doesn't involve murder. @crusader8 If the kid were to just annoy someone smarter than him without reason, I would just say to him "you earned it, deal with the consequences" I would be filth if I were to give reason or protect someone just because that person shares blood with me, regardless of the situation. I try to be as impartial as I can.

@nerthos that would be fine if it were that simple. You're not going to know what happened to him or her because odds are this would happen at school. It will be difficult to discern what actually happened. The only problem with kids deciding who smarter than who to see who should be put in place is just that - these are kids deciding who "deserves" to be treated like that. Even if your kid did something to murdock them off, it's the faculty's job (and yours) to rectify the behavior. Waiting for his or her peers get even is very poor parenting if you actually want your kid to grow up. Also, you can't be impartial - it's your kid! Being impartial would actually be bad for the kid. This is all parenting 101 so it's not necessary to delve further unless you're actually putting serious thought in siring a child. But, aren't you like, a kid yerself?
