@toksyuryel (For when you wake up) It's a flash game, hon. Flash makes my system go nuts with heat. It's more the design of the laptop than anything, though. The memory is RIGHT under the touchpad and not vented properly. That's why I can't play Spiral Knights on it.

@toksyuryel *hugs* I meant the heat problem is why I can play SK, but anyway... I need to find a way to get a monitor, or maybe HOPE that my old moitor can be revived. Then I could use my Mac Mini for at least a little gaming.

@toksyuryel What is this "Glitch" game like? I've seen some screenshots and it doesn't give me a definite answer, and the connection is too slow to load the gameplay video on YouTube well o,o

@omni It's difficult to adequately describe. Kind of a social game, very little conflict (and what conflict there is is quite unconventional), shades of Minecraft and EVE Online, and a very quirky and dry sense of humor. It's one of those games where you aren't exactly sure why you're playing it but you can't seem to stop anyway. The guy who made Katamari is involved in the development.

@omni If you have a PS2 you should really get Katamari Damacy and play it with your owner. It's a very unique title.

@theawesomepony Which Devil May Cry do you consider "great", if I may ask? I was quite disappointed in Devil May Cry 4 because the PC version was just a literal console port. It even told me to use the "left stick" to move around, when I actually had to use WASD. The gameplay was also not adapted at all for keyboard usage and instead optimised for console gameplay. All in all, it was a hell to play, although I liked the atmosphere.

@omni The PC version was better, though, since it had enhanced things like the "whole crowds of monsters on screen" mode. DMC was never a game to play with a keyboard. You just have to plug a controller to the PC.

@nerthos I'm sorry, but when I buy a game for a PC, I expect it to be well playable with normal PC controls. If I want to use a controller, I may as well buy a console game =/

@omni You /can/ play it on PC if you're skilled enough. I made it far on DMC3 before even plugging a controller in. You just need to be good at games. Also one of the pros of playing on PC is that you can use almost any kind of controller, since most of them were adapted by companies or users.

@omni Also DMC3 was amazing. The story, the ambientation, characters, everything. The problem with 4 IMO was Nero. He wasn't even half as good a protagonist as Dante is. He was a crybaby, as evidenced by how Dante humilliated him at will in their encounters, and the lack of a proper DMC girl on the game.
