@pyravia Back in my day ponies didn't HAVE a "generation 1," they just had plain old My Little Pony, none of this Friendship is Magic nonsense, and they didn't complain none about it neither!

@pyravia Back in my day we were lucky to have VCRs. Back in my day electronics lasted longer than a couple years. I had a black and white dial-tuned television that I watched cartoons on and I was grateful!

@pony My first tv was B&W as well :)

@hakupony @pyravia My first Windows machine was Windows 1 and it didn't use a mouse. My family's first computer monitor was monochrome, and it was orange. I SO wish I still had it.

@pony My first printer printed from a spool of paper that had perforated edges so you could separate the sheets and the spooling edges... It feels so good to get all this of my chest.

@pony I want to go back in my texts and find that picture with the guy and all the old skool swag.
-
@firestormdangerdash I really just want an orange monochrome monitor like I had again. I would use it for EVERYTHING!

When I was in highschool I visited Italy and they still used the Lira, not the Euro.

@pony oh i do believe you mean amber colored. They only made green, white, and amber monochrome computers. Commonly at least. Green the most.
-
@firestormdangerdash yes!! I want an amber monitor! I will call it my squishy and it will be mine!

@firestormdangerdash Now all I need is to figure out how to get it to work with everything I own... I think my smart phone might be the trickiest... http://www.miraclebusiness.com/mt107.htm
Friday, 24-Aug-12 09:58:14 UTC from web-
@pony hmm.. probably easier to get an SVGA monitor to work with stuff http://www.miraclebusiness.com/mt207.htm

@pyravia I tend to disagree here. Don Carmillo was great but I'd even say that we have much better stuff today.

@pyravia My first gaming console was an original Atari. Back in my day Mario and Donkey Kong weren't Nintendo's property.

@pony your so old skool, you must be from the old skool before they burnt down the old skool.
-
@firestormdangerdash @pyravia Back in my day I collected old pennies and it wasn't terribly uncommon to come across ones from before 1910.
