  1. Greetings, Bronies.. I wish to discuss things with you and learn how you think. Firstly I am not here to troll but rather curious about a few things.. Firstly.. I've noticed a large amount of Bronies donating large sums of money towards Kickstarters like Homestuck's newest one. Upwards of $5,000 mind you, Where is that money coming from..? Is it from the scholarships you got? I've noticed a slight epidemic of you moving away from the south and going to northern states. Why is that? You do know that schooling is the same all country right? Why do you say love and tolerance when a few of your well known members are hateful towards others? You don't seem very tolerant of religion either.

    2. @broniesletstalk Money: I have no idea; Moving states: No idea (is this even true?); Love and tolerate: Some people believe in this, others don't. It seems to be more of a catchphrase than a serious saying, though; Intolerance: I accept every single religion I know so far, but some may not. After all, we're all different people whom only have one thing in common: we like MLP: FiM.

    3. @broniesletstalk A lot of bronies tend towards being of various orientations rejected by mainstream religious beliefs. There are a lot of gay, bisexual and transgender bronies, for whom "religion" is synonymous with "bigotry". Secondly, "Love and tolerance" amongst bronies is basically a lie they perpetuate. Most bronies are no more tolerant than anyone else, but they sure like to talk about the perfectly normal things they tolerate as if it's a big deal.

    4. @broniesletstalk "Moving from southern states to northern states"? I'm gonna need a source on this one.

      1. @redenchilada My guess: Proud southern person resentful that a brony friend who does not share his religious belief or sense of pride is moving north to attend a different educational institute.

    5. @broniesletstalk Fallacies committed: that all of us like the term "bronies". That all of us donate to Kickstarter. That all of us live in America. That all of use say "love and tolerance". (That last one in particular will get you ridiculed around that part unless said with irony.)

    6. @broniesletstalk Well, the question would be: where is the fandom intolerant against religions? There are some cases in which you may be intolerant or as Popper says it: "Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them. [...] We should therefore claim, in the name of tolerance, the right not to tolerate the intolerant."

    7. @broniesletstalk A good percentaje of bronies are either in college and/or working, so the money issue is easy to figure with a bit of logic. "Love and tolerance" unless said with irony, is synonimous to either "New to the fandom" or "dumb" As for the states thing, I don't have the slightest idea, because the only states I can point in a map of USA are Texas, because it's near Mexico, California, because it's near Cuba, and Alaska, because it's next to Canada.

      1. @nerthos There is another good reason to move o the north: because you start college and it is there. Especially useful if you coe from an enviroment which you felt not accepting yu as you are...

        1. @hakupony Meh, I know barely anything about the differences among the areas of USA. The only thing I know about the south is that they used to have those really fancy gentlemen with white suits. As for the "feeling not accepted" thing, that's not my area either, since I can easily shape my personality if I need to.

          1. @nerthos So you would abando your personality o fit in your enviroment? That's very, very weak.

            1. @hakupony Pretty much the opposite. It's basically building a fake personality for each place, to be able to reap full benefits. I'm pretty happy with my current one, because it's efficient. If I find a flaw in it, I'll change it; otherwise it'll be just a façade.

    8. @broniesletstalk As for the religion issue, there's no consensus among the fandom. Some are very religious, some are atheist. And there's lots of spaghetti too, coating the whole thing. The only thing that can be said for sure about the fandom, is that there are many kinds of individuals with completely different views involved.
