                  1. @derpyshy nice I love Ubuntu with gnome just not with gnome 3 lol

                  2. @derpyshy If you say GNOME, you're going to confuse people if you mean GNOME2 or GNOME3. It's better to be clear here and that you're using the beautifully shiny, but less feature-rich GNOME3 :P

                    1. @omni I know it's GNOME3, but I was confizzled x.x

Friday, 07-Sep-12 20:59:18 UTC from web
                      1. @derpyshy Don't worry, GNOME3 is confused itself sometimes as well. I still remember it calling itself GNOME2 once.

                        1. @omni I still need to try Gnome3 eventually. Seems like something I'd use. Then again I like the customization of MATE so..

Friday, 07-Sep-12 21:03:27 UTC from web
                          2. @minti GNOME3 isn't made for people who like to customize their system. And I'm actually pretty serious about this, the default freedom of settings is terribly low, it just managed to be just like I want it to be by default.

Friday, 07-Sep-12 21:03:16 UTC from web
                            1. @omni Well I'm a minimalist so, there's that. Pretty sure I can get it to look the way I want, maybe.

Friday, 07-Sep-12 21:05:06 UTC from web
                              1. @minti But is it worth the effort?

Friday, 07-Sep-12 21:05:35 UTC from web
                              2. @minti With gnome-tweak-tool, a lot of patience and luck, I suppose. But really, you do not use GNOME3 to be able to customize it. You simply do not.

                    1. @shadowdash454 Because it doesn't work as you want it out-of-the-box and you'll actually have to put some time into your system? :P

                      1. @omni I should try arch. I've heard its crazy customizable.
