      1. @oracle It's just me. I hate shopping for clothing (trousers, shoes, jackets especially) and furniture is that but 100 times worse.

        1. @adiwan Does Germany at least still have stores, where you can see what you're buying in person, pay for it with cash, and walk out that very day with exactly what you wanted instead of waiting a week for Amazon to cuss everything up and Google tracing your Mastercard purchases?

          1. @scribus Yes you have stores like that. When it comes to big furniture (couches) you'll have to wait for that because it has to be manufactured on demand. That can take from 6 to 12 weeks.

              1. @ceruleanspark It depends on the store. Some have a little bit of stock (or the stuff on the show floor). But mostly it is made on demand.
