  1. Seems that for every tumblr question I answer, two more appear in its place. It is like a mighty hydra.

    1. @thelastgherkin I've killed plenty a Hydra.

      1. @anarchycarcino In that case it is like whack a mole.

        1. @thelastgherkin Hm.

    2. @thelastgherkin Fortunately, half of all questions asked on Tumblr are really dumb and don't prompt answers from an askblog!

      1. @redenchilada It's true that a lot of them don't, but I have problems with trying to please everyone. :/

        1. @thelastgherkin Become really elitist. Trust me, it's for your own good. Don't become _too_ elitist and not answer _anything_, though :p

          1. @redenchilada I think maybe I'll do this when I'm older than four days old. I've certainly got an eye to turning of anonymous asks.

          2. @redenchilada I think maybe I'll do this when I'm older than four days old. I've certainly got an eye to turning off anonymous asks.

            1. @thelastgherkin Yeah, anonymous asks can be kinda fun, but I've not really seen many blogs where the few benefits (getting to riff on the whole "don't know who you are" thing is pretty much the only one that comes to mind) outweigh the sheer deluge of asks you accrue from it.

              1. @greyenchilada The problem is that some of my most popular posts have been anon-driven. Like Rambo, or when Inkie exploded.

    3. @thelastgherkin It is impossible to fight against all these questions. Right now I have over 280 questions in my inbox and I feel bad for not answering them all. To be honest, a lot of them are garbage and I'm not able to answer them. I've got quite a bunch of questions involving humans. I don't want to introduce humans into equestria. Neiither as mythological creatures nor as hallucinations by Lyra.

      1. @broniebrown I'm trying to give really broad answers that answer multiple questions at once in order get through them faster, but I suppose yours is different because people come to the vet with specific problems instead of just asking about something.

        1. @thelastgherkin I have a great variation of questions in fact. Some more specific and some that are very broad. But I tend to get a lot of weird questions. http://ur1.ca/aegxf

          1. @broniebrown That does raise an interesting discussion, actually.

            1. @thelastgherkin I won't display this question but I'll answer a question that is remotely related to this question. A more serious question. Here another silly one http://ur1.ca/aeh2u

              1. @broniebrown See, that one is just awesome.

                1. @thelastgherkin I don't deny that this one has potential. But it is silly nonetheless. But I will likely answer this one because I friggin' love Monty Python's Holy Grail. http://ur1.ca/aeh87
