  1. Someone took over my TV soundbar. I operate it via optical cable and I didn't think that bluetooth would be on all the time. A person blasted bad music (hip hop) through my speakers. I had to turn it quickly off and look into the manual how to lock the bluetooth functionality.

      1. @drinkingpony No. I just deactivated bluetooth pairing through a rather obscure sequence of button presses on the remote.

          1. @drinkingpony LG SK8. I bought that one because I have a LG TV and it sounds OK. I'm not an audiophile but it's completely alright. Better than the thin TV's squeaky speakers. It's a 2.1 system and it is sufficient for me. A surround system would be nice but laying down the cables and finding a place for the rear speakers is too much hassle for me.

      1. @scribus Only for the first second but it was very clear to me that bluetooth was the weakpoint.

        1. I have to think of http://rainbowdash.net/url/874422 RN. Worst part is that there are worse voices and devices who do that.

          1. @drinkingpony My soundbar doesn't speak to me. However I'm intrigued to look into Google Home.
