  1. Instant red flags :

I was helping out someone with a Lego domoticz project at a nearby school and this comic ( see attachment ) is on the wall somewhere behind us when I/we hear someone loudly proclaim "I don't get it"

I turn around and I see what in most flattering words can only be described as a neckbeard in a trench coat wearing a Tux T-shirt, wielding an apple laptop with many more Linux stickers on it and a big Tux over the apple logo.

( Tux is the Linux penguin mascot BTW )

me:"What is it that you do not get ?"

fake nerd:"Well, why is HTML a flower pot?"

Picard:"Red Alert, all hands to battlestations !". You probably understand my plight now. http://rainbowdash.net/url/875195

    1. @drinkingpony Sometimes people don't get the basicness of HTML. BTW: I have a tux t-shirt but I haven't worn it for almost a decade and I usually peel off every sticker possible except for the ThinkPad logo stickers. Those OS, graphics card and processor stickers on the palm rest are the worst.

      1. @adiwan @drinkingpony I have a t-shirt where Groot has a Tux doll on his computer desk. Does that count, or am I safe? If it hurts/helps, Groot is saying "I am root." And he's wearing a Rocket Raccoon shirt, himself.

        1. @scribus That's actually funny and interesting in comparison of the Linux/Tux shirt I have. I have LINUX written on the front, whereas the text is additionally mirrored in the horizontal over the vertical axis of the X, and a classic Tux on the back.

        2. @scribus Depends, do you think HTML is a programming language or otherwise flex your nerd cred in a way that makes people that actually know a thing or two about that subject winge over in cringe ?

          1. @drinkingpony ...but doesn't the ML stand for Markup Language? That is formatting, not programming!

            1. @scribus How it is used I think it can also stand for makeup language.
