@toksyuryel Yes you do. TL2 is (from what I saw of the brief open beta) basically more of the same, except with balance/difficulty tweaks and multiplayer, and a continuation of the story. So playing 1 will be a decent way to judge whether you'll like it. (I'd suspect you will. Plus I've heard rumblings that 2 will also come to Linux eventually, since 1 was certainly possible.)

@toksyuryel Also if/when we both have TL2, we really need to play it online at some point, because I really enjoyed the couple of hours co-op I got in during said beta. :3 (Plus as far as I could tell (the beta was online features only), character levels are meant to carry over from singleplayer to multiplayer and vice versa.)
