    1. @pony Because it's a fun project with the reward of being able to tri-boot all three major OS families, and not miss anything~.

      1. @cavatina ah looks like it's more affordable too.

      2. @cavatina it does actually sound fun though xP I think something must be wrong with me.

      3. @cavatina Can't I just quad-boot 4 Linuces? :x

          1. @omni You had me wondering there for a second.. is there any reason you'd want to dual boot linux?

Thursday, 08-Nov-12 18:14:47 UTC from web
            1. @pony Probably Arch and Ubuntu so that, in case I screw up Arch so badly again everything is completely broken, I at least have a working system as well :P

        2. @omni Is that the accepted plural for Linux?

Thursday, 08-Nov-12 18:13:19 UTC from web
          1. @yodelerty I honestly don't know, but I read it somewhere on a Wikibooks page regarding LaTeX. Should check on that later, though.

            1. @omni I assumed it would just be "Linux distros".

Thursday, 08-Nov-12 18:16:40 UTC from web
              1. @yodelerty A Linux isn't the same as a Linux distribution, though. Also, if you say "Linux distros" it sounds like you mean "Ubuntu and Mint", for example, instead of "Two PCs running a Linux-based system".

                1. @omni Ah. Gotcha.

    2. @pony Because OS X has a lot of cool exclusive programs.

      1. @yodelerty @cavatina but, functionally, a PC can do everything that a Mac can can't it?

Thursday, 08-Nov-12 18:08:38 UTC from web
        1. @pony Functionally, yes. But OS X has applications like Garage Band and whatnot.
