I'd put money towards th establishment of an enterprise that produces men's clothes with women's clothes soft fabrics. The tailoring sexism has gone too far!

@nerthos 100% cotton is 100% cotton, whether it's tailored to women or men makes no difference. Whatever you're complaining about, I don't think the fabric is the issue.

@kamikaze I'm not talking cotton, I'm talking other fabrics. I'm no expert on the issue, but I have fingers, and that's enough to determine wether a piece of cloth is made of softer fabric than other or not. Women's clothes are generally made of softer fabrics.

@nerthos I'd support soft fabrics with man sizes. Women sizes are evil. I can be a small in one and a large in another line. Guy shirts are awesome. I'm generally the same size regardless of brand.

@xeleanorxrigbyx Haha, yeah, sizes mean nothing nowadays. I bought a size 42 formal shirt, and my aunt gave me a size 34 t-shirt, and both fitted perfectly.

@nerthos Oh, you're talking about different weaving techniques, thread thickness etc. You probably want to add softener to your laundry, which gets rid of the scratchy feeling.

@nerthos You can also wear silk. But it's expensive and you cannot clean it yourself. My only silk clothing is a tie.

@kamikaze Yeah, that's a problem. I never had problems with scratchy feeling, but that's probably because I never wear wool. I end up always wearing cotton and jean because of practicity, because things made of other fabrics are usually stupidly impractical.

@nerthos Cotton feels scratchy, too, depending on the lime concentration in the water you use for washing. Now I'll check my wardrobe for something that feels soft and find out what kind of fabric it is.

@kamikaze That must be the thing then, I use completely untreated water. I have the advantage of living right above one of the biggest pure water deposits in the whole world.

@nerthos The majority of the water in Germany is untreated. But in this region untreated water has a lot of lime.
