And so ends one of the most miserable days of my life.

@tenebarius What's up with you?
Saturday, 26-Jan-13 04:02:30 UTC from web-
@zeldatra @renovatedkitchen People issues on my site. There is honestly no way to describe how stressed out I am and have been today.
Saturday, 26-Jan-13 04:03:58 UTC from web-
@tenebarius why not smack them? I would help, but I don't know how
Saturday, 26-Jan-13 04:06:27 UTC from StatusNet iPhone-
@renovatedkitchen Because I care for all of these people, and they keep telling me that they are disappointed in me and that I need to do this, that, these, and those things.

@nerthos When you're an Admin, freaking out is the worst thing you can do.
Saturday, 26-Jan-13 04:09:00 UTC from web-
@tenebarius I didn't say freak out. I've been an admin before. When the userbase starts being too annoying asking for all kinds of stuff at the same time, you have to stop them or they'll never ho back to being calm.
Saturday, 26-Jan-13 04:10:10 UTC from web-
@nerthos That's the thing. I have asked them to stop, but they have not. It's really hard to explain it properly. Let's just say that I don't want to lose certain people (not that I want to lose anyone, really) because them leaving would rip apart the site, and they are high up in the power-scale, and are abusing their power and the fact that I don't want to lose them.
Saturday, 26-Jan-13 04:13:42 UTC from web-
@tenebarius Take away their power if they're abusing it. There's no questions in that regard. If they don't stick around, they're probably not conducive to a good site in the first place. If they're serving some ~important function~ in the RP you can just re-cast their role or whatever. You just gotta be firm sometimes.
Saturday, 26-Jan-13 04:16:09 UTC from web-
@redenchilada It's not that they /serve/ an important function, it's that they 1- Are practically the founder of the site's canon, 2- Have been their since the very beginning, and 3- Know more about the site and its canon than anyone else.
Saturday, 26-Jan-13 04:17:53 UTC from web-
@tenebarius If you let that become any sort of factor in whether you keep them in power, you're going to run the place into the ground. You can easily figure out the canon with what everyone else knows, and if the collective site forgets one thing and has to redo it... is that such a bad thing? Get the community under control first and foremost.

@tenebarius Stand your ground. You seriously do NOT want to have a bunch of guys in positions of power thinking they can do what they want.
Saturday, 26-Jan-13 04:17:41 UTC from web-
@nerthos My point exactly. I've stood my ground, but I'm exhausted from doing so.
Saturday, 26-Jan-13 04:18:16 UTC from web-
@tenebarius Guess not all of use are cut for pressure wars.
