@princeshootingstar Bella in the Twilight series has been called a Mary Sue by many, for example, but there's still conflict and drama. Nyx still has to find her place in Equestria (I'm guessing), so that's what the story is about. OP or not, that can still make for an interesting story.

@pony The CMC's (and no not Babs Seed she was not in the first DDCT so yeah) pony scout troop just happen to be going on a camping trip and when Shooting Star ask Twilight if he can go she tells him "No" but after a while of annoying her and with Shadowfoot's help he gets to go but it is still in the beta s yeah

@pony I believe it's another case of the Bandwagon syndrome. One 'popular' person jumps on it those that follow do to then you have the domino effect, where it spreads down and down as people simply want to follow these in the footsteps to try and be popular as well. Many if you ask don't even know the stories or even read them.
