@renovatedkitchen Except for the burden of trial-and-error gameplay. I mean, if you go slow you can beat most levels without dying. But the point of Sanic is to go fast and there's not enough screen for you to see safely ahead of you while doing so.

@redenchilada If one of the gameplay mechanics is using Sanic's speed then I'm going to go fast. Unfortunately you can't see far enough ahead of you in the 2D games for you to be able to complete a level without dying. So you just keep trying again until you remember where everything is. A.K.A. trial and error. Unless you want to go slow. Then you just have Mario with less fun power-ups. Or you could play the 3D games but those are rubbish.

@yodelerty You don't even go fast enough in sanic to be unable to react to things unless your reaction time is awful. Like, mine is worse than most and I can still react to stuff at full speed.
