@scribus !equestriandawn I'm like a month late, so I may be missing the context, but it grew to be what's the biggest not-porn-centric FiM MUSH around.

@retl There are porn centric FiM MUSH-es? I'd have thought MUSH was a little too niche for there to be multiples FiM ones.

@ceruleanspark Here's my old post covering FiM MU*s http://rainbowdash.net/notice/895362 PonyMUSH and EquestriaMUCK are the main SFW rivals I've seen, but there's always the chance that there's some I just haven't seen. Since that original post, Discordia (Adults Only. No link. Featured on Equestria After Dark.) launched which has a lot more characters. It's not ALL porn, but with the age gate at the front, a lot of what happens is porn or fetish-centric. They're also really relaxed with regards to Alternate Universe ponies mingling, so there's lots and lots of Main6 variants to choose from. ;3 And more recent is Role Play is Magic. They have http://rpim-mush.tumblr.com/post/46055665643/what-is-rpim and http://mlp-rpim.forumotion.com/ Smaller playerbase for being fresh, but they plan to play the 'Keep to show-canon as close as possible' angle now that Equestrian Dawn is decidedly diverging away in coming months.

@neurario Pony MU*s have been around longer than Friendship is Magic has, by a long while. http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Category:My_Little_Pony_multiplayer_worlds Though Equestrian Dawn was the first I joined.

@neurario ... Or so I thought. I just went clicking through links, and a lot of the preFiM RP setups are play-by-post.

@neurario There's so much crossover with the furry community, who are generally more au fait with the concept and administration of MU's that it was inevitable. I didn't think there were quite so many though.

@ceruleanspark Hmm, fair enough. I guess there are going to be MUSHes for anything. Case in point, I very vaguely remember being involved in a tiny Psychonauts thing with some friends where I had no idea what was going on because I had yet to play the game...
