  1. So for the price of a low-end iMac, I get parts to manually put together a high-end animator's computer, plus dual monitors, a bluetooth keyboard, and a bluetooth mouse. Eat your heart out, Apple.

        1. @zeldatra I hate "running out of battery power in the middle of something important and finding out someone else stole your batteries" or "someone forgot to put something I really need right now in the charging station after they were done" or "Gee I love my new mouse, but it does not work... oh wait this is my cellphone. where is my mouse ? OMG someone stole my mouse !!!" or... wireless in a nutshell...

    2. @widget Initially I didn't want to waste energy building a PC. However, my sudden want to build a computer, coupled with my apprehension of Apple removing the DVD drive, FireWire, and the RAM access slot convinced me otherwise. (Plus I can just partition half the drive for OSX.)
