    1. @pony I'm at the point where I'm considering producing my own. I've got the software and I've got the episodes.

      1. @ceruleanspark I went to the trouble of creating backups of half my Avatar The Last Airbender series DVDs in order to be able to bring them with me to clients' homes without worry of damaging the originals and the DVDs ended up not working correctly on certain players. Also, I worry that the discs will simply deteriorate relatively quickly until they're not usable in any player. If I were to create my own FiM DVDs I'm afraid I'd have the same problem unless I maybe spend more money buying a longer-lasting DVD-R brand, but even then, it won't last as long.

        1. @pony I think I will just put them on my NAS and address them from there. Possibly burn a few DVD's for my mantlepiece, Either that or I can wait for Hasbro to come through

                1. @pony I think NAS usually means "A pretty box you can throw in the corner of your room that enables all your network devices comminucation with it so you can fetch your files" So it would be more descriptive than simply "an FTP" server, because you need the FTP protocol ( Integrated with TCP/IP ) to comminucate with an FTP server... Then again what device does not have FTP or TCP/IP protocols these days ? I think I am rather lost in my own description here. ... Unless .... Apple ?

                  1. @critialcloudkicker :3 No clue honestly. I make do with Dropbox and an external drive myself.

                  1. @pony On that topic though, you can apparently use the ultra-cheap raspberry pi with a USB hard disk to create a super cheap NAS for streaming.

                    1. @ceruleanspark that actually sounds really awesome. I recently read a thing about using a Raspberry Pi to mine bitcoins on an NES http://hackaday.com/2013/03/25/mining-bitcoins-on-a-nintendo/

                2. @ceruleanspark Hmm... Lets hope it was just a # and not that the DHCP server I replaced last December hands out pony names if you present a MAC address... ... ... Wait... no that would still be awesome

        2. When I bought a bluray player last year I made sure it could play my movies directly from an external HDD, but that's not exactly portable or easily shared without breaking the law.
