        1. @therainbowdashx @Widget is a big, strong, sexy man. And I'm not sure how easy it would be to implemet something like that, but I wouldn't know. He'll be more than happy to have you ask him though.

          1. @mastertdi It is pretty lag compincated though because youd have to make a function where the server sends and receives simultaneously la lalala lagg

            1. @therainbowdashx I know nothing about any of that stuff. >_>

        2. @therainbowdashx widget is a he

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:15:38 UTC from StatusNet Android
          1. @redenchilada Yeah i figured that

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:16:17 UTC from web
        3. @therainbowdashx It could theoretically be done without too much hassle, but I can't see how "Who's Online" could be integrated into the interface without clogging up the sidebar even more (and imo that's approaching its limit of reasonable size). I could see "User was last on X time ago" on profiles being useful, though.

          1. @redenchilada We already have those. They're called timestamps, and they tell you when someone last posted.

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:19:11 UTC from web
            1. @thelastgherkin Some people might find it useful to know if someone's lurking, though.

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:20:30 UTC from StatusNet Android
              1. @redenchilada It could at least reduce the "hello i an here" posts, anyway.

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:21:31 UTC from StatusNet Android
              2. @redenchilada So they can go "this timeline's dead lol, why aren't you guyz posteng???"

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:21:45 UTC from web
                1. @thelastgherkin "Hey, I need to get in touch with you ASAP, are you on?"

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:23:19 UTC from StatusNet Android
                  1. @redenchilada Isn't that basically what people say and do anyway?

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:26:49 UTC from web
                    1. @thelastgherkin Having an indicator of if a person is online can reduce some of those.

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:27:49 UTC from StatusNet Android
                      1. @redenchilada But it would still require addressing them directly. "Hey, are you here, and if so x[/]" isn't any worse than, "Hey, [i]x".

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:30:52 UTC from web
                        1. @thelastgherkin Son of a crap tags are hard to type.

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:31:39 UTC from web
                        2. @thelastgherkin It wouldn't hurt to have the function, though. Almost every community-centered site I've been on has some form of it.

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:33:33 UTC from StatusNet Android
                          1. @redenchilada It would probably be easier to impliment for widget if you made it a button like the decoder

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:35:58 UTC from web
                            1. @therainbowdashx it would technecly be harder to implement as it requires more coding to add the function as a button

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:37:26 UTC from web
                              1. @ryanjjjj I only meant for widget to implement like you know would there be a question somewhere "what measuring system do you use"

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:39:01 UTC from web
                                1. @therainbowdashx yeah i know im just being a papaya hat :3

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:39:38 UTC from web
              3. @redenchilada But it is good to have a offline status because i like to stay logged in because it takes a long time for this page to completely load on my ipod

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:21:52 UTC from web
          2. @redenchilada Yet that would destroy the concept of lurking, something many users like to do.

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:19:54 UTC from web
            1. @nerthos Offline option, like in MSN m8

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:20:21 UTC from web
          3. @redenchilada do you know if widget is on right now

Tuesday, 16-Apr-13 20:20:21 UTC from web
            1. @therainbowdashx Generally the best way to figure that out is to mention him @widget and see if he responds.
